This time, PIONEER members met at the 32nd annual conference and fair of EAIE – European Association for International Education, which took place on 13.-16. September 2022 in multicultural Barcelona. The members of the Alliance could meet again after a longer break, but also get to know the new members from the individual institutions. During the conference and fair, they exchanged experiences and ideas on how to move cooperation forward.

The conference program was focused on the theme “Future in full color”, which gives the possibility of a wide range of tools for internationalization. More than 200 exhibitors participated in Barcelona this year with more than 6000 participants.
Common, diverse and open – that was the EAIE conference and exhibition, which after a break caused by the pandemic, became a place not only to raise awareness, but also a place for meetings to develop existing or new partnerships and a place for meetings with international experts.

The meeting of the members of the PIONEER alliance was successful and encouraged mutual cooperation and opened the door to new ideas.
