Within the scope of an EU-funded project commissioned by the Digital Europe Program, the ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon leads a consortium of three other universities (LAUREA, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Gustave Eiffel University/ESIEE Paris) and a group of research and private sector partners aiming at developing a new pan-European Master Program for supporting digital transformation processes in healthcare institutions and services.

The Master (Masters programme details – ManagiDiTH) interlinks three main skills components – the social, the health and the digital skills – based on a transdisciplinary approach.

The Joint Master’s programme Managing the Digital Transformation in the Health Sector is designed to manage the digitalization of health services, to promote the adoption of data science and information system resources to innovate clinical approach, services and to reorganize processes. Applications will open in early 2024.

On 21st of September a webinar (ManagiDiTH project’s Launch Event online! – ManagiDiTH) about “Future Skills and Digital Health” was held with about 80 participants from the health, digital and higher education sectors. The impact of Artificial Intelligence in the Future of Healthcare Services was the main topic of the panel discussion. Lively debate and interesting insights were shared about how AI is transforming the way patients will access and make use of healthcare services, and what needs to be taught and learnt in post-graduate programmes to support this change.

In addition to enhancing students’ educational experiences and preparing them for a globally interconnected world, the co-creation of programs among partner universities promotes a collaborative and diverse learning environment which is one of the aims of the InCITIES project.
