SUMMARY:Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)\, 14 – 18 March 2022 ISCTE
DESCRIPTION:Short blended intensive programme (BIP) is organized by ISCTE Instituto Universitário de Lisboa\, Portugal. This BIP is about sustainability\, that will include some sessions\, collaborative workshops and study visits to services and programmes in this field. Subthemes to be included: Social Work\, Sociology\, Public Policy\, Political Science\, African Studies\, Architecture\, Data Science\, Public Administration. \nDuring BIP\, a group of students will undertake 6 days physical mobility at Iscte combined with a compulsory virtual component that will count towards the overall learning outcomes. The program for mobility week contains lectures\, collaboratory workshops\, laboratory work and study visits. Students also will do an independent assignment.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe conference City meets Science on May 20th in Cologne. \nRegistration starts on March 7th 2022 \nToday we are facing multiple challenges on how we are living and the way we use mobility. How can cities become more livable? How can urban spaces and urban mobility be designed to be sustainable and fit for the future? \nThe “Science meets City” symposium addresses the viewpoint of science within that area and is embedded in the polisMOBILITY trade fair in Cologne. The event focuses on modern urban infrastructure development\, innovative mobility concepts and devices\, as well as the collaboration between science\, cities and citizens. SUMMARY:Workshop- the PIONEER European University project
DESCRIPTION:As part of the PIONEER European University project\, we want to involve students as much as possible in the preparation of the project and several initiatives will take place in the coming weeks. \nAmong these initiatives\, we are organizing a workshop with about thirty students from the 5 universities of the Alliance\, about 6 per partner. This focus group  will be hosted online and we will ask students to answer several questions regarding international mobility\, challenge based learning\, European values. Students will be separated in  in different groups to make sure everyone can really participate. It is not necessary for students to have knowledge of the PIONEER project\, on the contrary. \nThe workshop will take place on Friday\, 10. February 2022 from 14:30 to 16:30 CET. \nTaking part in this focus group would also give students an opportunity to meet up with others students from France\, Finland\, Slovakia\, Portugal and Germany. \nWe hope this focus group can help us understand better students expectations and how we can better integrate them in the governance of the PIONEER project.
